I see this with many of my blogging clients. They tweet simply for the sake of posting something that day, that week or that month. It is a waste because as you said, it comes across as forced or disinterested. 140 characters might not seem like any big deal - but it is quite the opposite - potency is king and I would rather see people either step away from the keyboard or employ a professional, knowledgeable, creative and proficient person to help them. Their brand will grow more organically if they stick to what they do best and let the rest of us support their endeavors in the other areas. Bravo, Amy!

Amy – you are so right on with this blog! Thanks for being the voice for some of us! I see this with many of my blogging clients.
