EVERYTHING came to a screeching halt with the pandemic shutdown.
In an instant I could no longer work. And the $100k months I was used to… GONE!
Like everyone else, I thought this would pass quickly and we would all get back to our offices.
But when I realized that wasn’t quite the case, I got a camera, signed up for Zoom, and reached out to my clients to see how we could do what we do – but now virtually.
While all this was happening, I stumbled upon Amy. She was a speaker at an event I was watching online. And that’s when I realized digital courses could be my answer… so I signed up for Digital Course Academy!
Since I knew NOTHING about this whole online course world, I paid close attention to everything Amy teaches. (Especially the tech. That’s the part that felt the MOST challenging to me.)
For my founding members launch I took the email templates that were included in DCA, made some slight tweaks, sent 65 emails, and had 45 sign-ups! (F-o-r-t-y f-i-v-e!)
And it’s been up… up… up from there!
I have now taken DCA 2 more times! (I find it keeps me focused, and I am able to create a new course each time!)
One of my more recent launches made $75k in revenue – from just one email and 5 phone calls!
AND… I recently hit my million-dollar-in-sales milestone in Kajabi!! (The platform I use to host and sell my courses.)
My job is essentially still the same. I am still helping companies.
And although I still love to travel to fun places to work with clients, the BIG difference is I am 90% online!
I now offer several online courses that I can launch whenever and wherever I want. (Saving me time and giving me so much freedom!)
The BEST part: I now only work 3 days a week and make even MORE money than I did pre-pandemic. And in my new spare time, I ride my motorcycle with my husband!
