My GLP-1 journey, the women I rejected, and my best email this week 👀

September 15, 2026

Today’s Lineup:

  •  Are you rejecting your best buyer? 🫣I was!
  •  5,000 cold subscribers engaged again after ONE email 🖥️
  •  My peptide regimen, workout app, and more 🏋🏻‍♀️

A woman got on a call with my team a few weeks ago, told us what she was building, and we told her we weren’t the right fit for her. 😬We were wrong.

Here’s what happened.

For seventeen years I’ve done one thing: help women get their messaging right, build an offer people actually want, sell and promote it online, and turn an audience into buyers. That skill set does not care what you sell.

But the women I’d used it with were course creators, membership owners, and coaches.

If you ran a service business with no digital product and no interest in one, we told you we weren’t the right fit.

Same if you sold a physical product. Same if you ran a med spa or a dance studio with a customer list a mile long.

I had confused the container with the skill.

Then I started getting on those calls myself. I ran focus groups. And I kept meeting women I knew exactly how to help, no course or membership required.

Women who had been in my world for years, listening to the podcast, opening these emails. A lot of them had asked to come in. We had told them no. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I took a full day alone, no meetings, no interruptions, and mapped out who was actually showing up at my door.

Seven distinct groups of women. I’d named three or four of them before, but I had never sat down and gotten specific about what each one needs from me.

Then I built a path for each one, sorted by what has to change for her to make more money, not by what industry she’s in. And then I invited them in.

You’re likely doing a version of this right now. Maybe with a program. More likely with your messaging, your positioning, or one line on your sales page that tells an entire category of buyer this isn’t for her.

Now, I’ve spent years telling you to niche down. Get specific. Pick a person. I still believe every word of it.

This isn’t the opposite. Your niche is right. Your guest list might be too short.

I did not throw my doors open to everybody, and you shouldn’t either. I still say no all day long. But the women I added were already here, already wanting to buy from me. I had just never told them they were welcome.

The next real growth in your business is not behind more ads or more visibility. It’s already in your audience, waiting to be told, “come in.”

Go look at who you said no to this year. Then honestly consider if you said no because your offers won’t help them… or if you said no based on a version of your business from four years ago.

Your old Subscribers Aren’t Cold, They’re Mismatched 📩

Most of the people who stopped opening your emails didn’t lose interest in you. They lost interest in what you’ve been sending them lately.

We tested this a few weeks ago.

Instead of promoting our AI training to our usual engaged segment, we pulled everyone who had ever raised a hand for anything AI related: a podcast episode, an old email, a download from two years back.

A lot of those people hadn’t opened anything from us in months. After one AI-related email campaign, around 5,000 of them came back.

You can run this before your next promotion. It takes about an hour.

  • Name the specific topic of what you’re selling. “Photography” is too broad. “Posing families with toddlers” is a topic.
  • Build a segment of everyone who clicked, downloaded, or replied on that exact topic in the last 18 months, whether or not they’re currently active.
  • Send that group a topic-first email. Skip the “we miss you.” Lead with the thing they already told you they care about.
  • Anyone who opens it just moved back into your active audience, and every send after that one reaches more people.

The subscribers you already paid for are worth more than the ones you haven’t met yet. Almost nobody goes back and asks them. Take this opportunity now!

My Wellness Era, Four Years In 💪

Around 2022, I started feeling my age. Not in a cute way. In a “why does my back hurt, I was sitting down” way. I decided I was not going there, so I changed just about everything. Here’s what it looks like now.

Peptides. I started a GLP-1 in 2022, before anyone had opinions about it. The internet has since made up for lost time. Still the best decision I’ve made. My peptide stack today: Retatrutide, Wolverine, MOTS-c, and CJC.

A concierge doctor. Full blood work every three months, then he adjusts my hormones and my supplements based on what it says. My old supplement list came from other doctors, friends, and confident strangers on Instagram. Now every one of them is tied to a number on a lab report.

Meal prep with Hobie. Same dinner four nights in a row. Not glamorous. But it killed DoorDash and the nightly “what are we having?”

Lifting weights. Three years in, and this past year I committed to a program that changed my body completely. Personalized workouts in an app, real feedback every week, food dialed in. Some mornings I look in the mirror and wonder whose arms those are. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Want to see the exact program I do every day? [Pamyln’s program right here.]

Nice chat. Let’s do it again next week.

Until then, keep your niche but examine your welcome sign, re-win hearts (and opens) with a relevant topical email, and tell me I’m right in thinking 50 is the new 30!
