Slack confessions, launch hacks, and my new AI obsession

September 2, 2025

My sister is fifty years old… and she still sleeps with her baby blanket.

I’m embarrassed to out her like this, but it’s true.

It’s tattered, it’s barely holding together, and yet… it’s still there.

Proof ⬇️

When she was little, my mom wouldn’t let her take it out of the house.

So she’d be out playing in the cul-de-sac, dash inside, grab a quick snuggle with the blanket, and then run back outside with her friends.

That blanket was her comfort. Her safety. Her constant.

And all these years later, she never let it go.

But it got me thinking: don’t we all have a “security blanket”? Especially in our businesses?

For me, it started with my 9-to-5 job. Then, when I finally let that go, it was my consulting clients. Both felt safe.

Both were hard to release. And both were keeping me from going all in on my digital course business.

When I finally let them go, doors opened up.
Opportunities I never even thought of came knocking.
Everything changed.

Here’s a little tough love from me to you . . .

What’s keeping you safe is keeping you stuck. 😬

Read that one more time to let it sink in. ☝️

Sometimes we have to let go of the thing that feels good, that makes us look important, or that brings in steady money (aka: that makes us feel safe)…

…in order to unlock the next stage of growth.

➡️ What’s your “blankie” right now? What’s the thing you’re clutching out of fear, when you know deep down it’s time to let it go?

Want a Peek Inside My Tiger Ring? 🐯

I’m part of a peer mastermind, we call ourselves The Tiger Ring. (I know…such a good name!)

Anyway, the other day we were talking about the unsexy part of business growth.

For me? It was staying in my lane way longer than I wanted to.

Over time, my name was the one people mentioned first when they were looking for a mentor in this space.

When you’re known for something specific, marketing feels lighter, selling feels more natural, and your audience knows exactly how you can help.

But here’s the rub: launching the same offer over and over can feel like a recipe for boredom or burnout.

So how do you keep the spark alive while staying consistent?

Here are the strategies I’ve leaned on to keep things fresh, even while selling the same offer again and again.

Here’s what we’ve done:

Expand the audience (Find new ICAs for your offer).

Solve the bottleneck (Meet your audience’s current obstacles with each new promotion to make it feel more relevant).

Switch up the promo style (Summits, Webinars, Bootcamp, Challenges).

Simplify the curriculum (shorter videos, eliminate the fluff, add an AI bot).

Deepen support (Add coaches, offer reviews/audits, incorporate a new opportunity for accountability).

Step outside your comfort zone and show up in bigger, bolder ways. (Add an unexpected live component, invite affiliates into the mix, switch up your social media posts to something new).

Staying in your lane doesn’t have to feel stagnant. It’s how you build momentum, reputation, and revenue that lasts.

👉 One more thing… If you’ve been looking for some ways to breathe new life into your launches, my latest podcast is your roadmap to what’s working now.

From $7 tripwire offers to no-replay webinar strategies, I’m sharing the exact moves that are helping course creators cut through the noise. Listen here. 🎧

Your New AI Cheat Code 👩🏻‍💻

You’ve been loving my AI tips, and now that I’ve joined a new AI Mastermind, I’ve got even more gems to share with you.

Today, I’ve pulled together a REALLY good cheat code you can copy, paste, and start testing right away.

Quick note before we dive in: AI works best when you treat it like a teammate. The more you feed it context, the more it learns your style, your priorities, and the way you think.

Every prompt gets sharper when you’re in conversation with your tool, not just tossing it random one-offs.

Alright, let’s get into the good stuff.

🔥 “Based on everything you know about me and our previous chats, what is my hidden narrative? What’s the one fear I never admit?”

(Heads-up: when I tried this, it read me so clearly I thought the FBI had hacked my laptop! 🕵🏻‍♀️)

Great chat. Let’s do it again next week!

Until then, let go of your blankie, stay in your lane a little longer, and steal my AI cheat code.
