There was a year when I almost lost myself to my own ambition.
I was well into my third year in business.
My business was growing, the numbers looked good, and from the outside, it all seemed to be going just as I had hoped.
But inside, I was exhausted.
I kept chasing the next milestone, the next revenue goal, the next big launch, because I thought that was what success was supposed to look like.
Then one day, Hobie looked at me and said, “Amy, do you even know what’s enough for you?”
That question stopped me in my tracks.
I didn’t have an answer. 🥴
I realized I had spent so long trying to build more that I’d forgotten what “enough” even meant for me.
I thought slowing down meant losing momentum, but instead of feeling fulfilled, I felt completely disconnected from my business, from my family, and from myself.
That season taught me something I’ll never forget.
When you don’t know your ‘enough’… you will always feel like you’re behind, even when you’re winning. ‼️
There’s no finish line. There’s just more.
Now, every year (things change, so this needs to be an annual thing), I sit down and define what “enough” looks like for me.
Money is a big part of it, but it’s also about energy, peace, and joy. I ask myself:
📍How much do I really need to live well and feel secure?
📍What kind of schedule would make me feel energized instead of drained?
📍What parts of my business actually make me happy, and which ones make me tense up the second I see them on my calendar?
So I’ll ask you what Hobie asked me: do you know what’s enough for you?
Take some time this week to really think about it.
You might be surprised by how much you already have, and how much lighter life feels once you stop chasing someone else’s version of success.
The Curated Scroll: Business Edition 🤓
Because not all content is created equal, here’s what’s worth your brain space this week. I find the gems so you don’t have to.
#1: How Far Can AI Go In Your Job?
OpenAI just dropped a benchmark that tests how well top AI models perform real-world tasks you’d normally pay humans to do. Click to see which roles are already being edged out (and which ones still feel safe).
#2: Instagram’s Big Shift: What It Means for Your Content Strategy
Instagram is testing a Reels-first interface that opens straight into short-form video. If this rolls out globally, it could reshape how your audience finds and engages with you. Click to see what’s coming and how to prepare.
The 7-Figure Solopreneur Playbook 👩🏻💻
What if scaling your business didn’t require hiring anyone, launching three new offers, or running yourself into the ground?
If I had to start over today without a team, here’s the truth I’d build everything around: simplicity scales.
It’s the “Rule of One” > One Offer. For one person. On one clear path. 🏆
And if that offer doesn’t exist yet? Let AI help you find it.
Here’s how I’d do it:
- Use AI as your research partner. Drop real data like DMs, comments, or survey answers into ChatGPT and ask it to summarize your audience’s top five frustrations. That becomes your market map.
- Build a “Story Bank.” Keep a running thread of short stories, lessons, and opinions that reflect your voice. When you go to write a post, launch email, or sales page, pull from this vault to sound more human and original.
- Create feedback loops. Track what headlines, captions, or emails perform best and feed them back into AI to refine your next round of copy. You’re training your own marketing assistant over time.
If you’re overwhelmed, this episode will show you exactly how to run leaner, smarter, and stronger, even if you’re still a team of one.

New York Adventures 🗽
Last week I flew to New York with my mom and sister to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and we made it special.
Think: staying at The Plaza, strolling through Central Park, dinner at The Polo Bar, and seeing O Mary! and The Outsiders on Broadway. Pure magic.
Here’s us in Central Park…

But here’s the part that cracked me up…
Each night around 10pm, my mom, my sister, and I were back at the hotel in our robes, snuggled up and ready for bed.
Meanwhile, my 24-year-old niece Ava was just getting started. 💃🏻
She went out with her NY friends every night and rolled in around 3:30am… then woke up the next morning bright-eyed and ready to go. Oh, to be 24 again.
These days, if I stayed up till 3:30, I’d need a full recovery week and possibly a life coach. Amirite?!
Nice chat! Let’s do it again next week.
Until then, take some time to find your ‘enough’ (I promise, it’s worth it!), streamline your strategies (especially if you’re a solopreneur!), and get to bed earlier!
Amy
P.S. If you’ve ever wondered how I’d rebuild my business from scratch as a team of one, this week’s episode breaks it all down… what I’d keep, what I’d cut, and how I’d still scale to seven figures. [Click to listen here.]
