I didn’t black out. I didn’t do anything too wild.
But there was one night in 2024 when I did run my mouth, did frustrate my husband, and woke up with that “Oof. That wasn’t my best moment.” feeling.
Not to mention a headache from hell. 😬
And that’s when I decided to try a little experiment.
No drinking in 2025. At all.
The truth is, as I’ve gotten older, alcohol’s not doing me any favors.
Plus, I wanted to see if I could follow through on a promise to myself. So I gave it up.
And honestly? It’s been easy.
Except for one thing.
When I’m out with friends and everyone’s sipping something, and I’m sitting there with my fizzy water, I feel… weird.
Like I’m the buzzkill. Like my decision is making them feel bad.
No one’s ever said this. But that thought? That discomfort?
It’s not about drinks. It’s about not wanting to make people uncomfortable.
And the minute I noticed it in my personal life, I saw it in my business, too.
→ Holding back feedback for a team member because I didn’t want to hurt their feelings
→ Softening a bold idea because I didn’t want to step on toes
→ Swallowing my gut instinct in meetings because I didn’t want to rock the boat
Sound familiar? I’m not sure if you can relate, but I wanted to share my findings, just in case they can serve you too.
What I know to be true is that I am not responsible for other people’s thoughts or feelings. That’s not on me.
My responsibility? Show up as the woman I need to be to live the life I truly want.
That’s it.
So here’s the question I want you to ask yourself:
Are you making decisions in your business based on your highest vision… or based on how comfortable it’ll keep everyone else?
Because staying small to keep the peace? That’s a leadership tax. And you deserve a refund.
It’s not your job to make everyone else comfortable. Remember this the next time you are holding yourself back.
If you, too, are a people pleaser in recovery and want to share your own story with me, I’d love to hear from you.

Are You Ready for Your First Full-Time Hire? Here’s How to Know 👩🏻💻
If you’re working with a handful of contractors right now, that’s smart. It’s scrappy. It works… until it doesn’t.
Maybe not now, but at some point, your business will outgrow part-time help and need someone fully dedicated to your growth.
A full-time hire.
Scary? Yes. But sometimes it’s the exact next step you need.
Here’s how to know you’re ready:
1. You’re stuck in the drudgery zone.
Still troubleshooting tech, managing funnels, or writing every launch plan yourself? That’s time and energy better spent on growth.
2. You can tie the role to revenue.
When the role supports lead gen and sales, it’s an investment, not an expense.
3. You want consistency.
If every project feels like starting from scratch, a full-time hire can bring systems, momentum, and freedom.
The truth? Hiring full-time isn’t just a tactical decision. It’s a mindset shift.
You stop seeing hiring as a cost and start seeing it as a pathway to space, sustainability, and growth.
Here’s what I recommend:
→ Write down the projects you know could use extra support for true growth
→ Start with a part-time employee if full-time feels too big
→ And then ask what it would take to make this role permanent
Even if it feels scary, it might be the bravest, best move you make all year.
7 Ways to Make More Money Before Dec 31st 💰
If you want to finish the year strong, one of the fastest ways to generate cash is by revisiting the audience you already have.
Look at what’s already working in your business and ask:
Where can I add a low-lift upsell or down-sell?
→ Could you offer a mini coaching package after someone buys your course?
→ A 30-day sprint for people who didn’t buy this time around?
→ A $47 offer that gives them a quick win and builds trust?
You don’t need a brand-new offer. You need a path from yes to yes, please.
In this week’s podcast, I walk you through 7 ways to increase revenue before December 31st, all using assets and offers you likely already have.
🎧 Give it a listen and grab at least one idea you can use this week.

Nice chat! Let’s do it again next week.
Until then, get uncomfortable, choose a new strategy to generate more $ before 12/31, and mind your own business!
