As a busy hairstylist, it was hard to make time to create my course. I was too super focused on growing my salon and traveling around doing workshops.
Then COVID hit and I had to say goodbye to all my traveling.
With more free time on my hands, the pandemic became the perfect time to put my course together. So I went all in!
I followed Amy’s 30 Days to a Workshop bonus and created an online workshop that I quietly sold.
I didn’t do a big launch or anything like that. I just wanted to see what would happen.
The result: 10 stylists bought my workshop and I made $2,000!
That gave me the confidence to do something even bigger.
So I started working on creating a full online course teaching stylists how to use the balayage method (a life-changing alternative to highlights that I’m totally obsessed with)!
And I followed Amy’s “Founding Members’ Strategy” to prep for my launch.
With her help, I built a Facebook group of 3,000 of my ideal customers. And an email list of 800 small but loyal subscribers.
When I announced my course this January, I had 487 eager members ready to register — and out of those I ended up enrolling 36 students, making a total of $17,000 with my very first launch!
I wasn’t just thrilled. I was more than thrilled!!
So then I decided to launch again.
I wanted to prove that I could have another successful launch in the same calendar year. (Though to be honest, this also made me realllllyyyy nervous.)
Looking back, I had nothing to be nervous about.
With an email list now 1,700 people strong, I enrolled an ADDITIONAL 54 students and made another $28,000 in sales.
This would never have been possible without DCA!
The great thing about this program is the way Amy breaks everything you need to do down into steps. She knows what to do and when to do it. So when you take DCA, you’ll know what to do and when to do it, too.
Being in DCA has changed my life already. I have a whole new perspective on the future of my business. And because of Amy, I’ve completely restructured my life.
I only work 2–3 days a week behind the chair, now giving me the freedom to decide how to spend the rest of my time.
Thank you, Amy!
