It’s what kicked off my chronic pain journey and had me living in agony for 10 long years!

I eventually got to the end of my rope and couldn’t take it anymore, so I changed careers and became a therapist. (I must have gotten used to listening to other people’s problems as I was editing all that drama-filled footage for all those years.)

As I began to dive deeper into my client work I started to discover mind-body techniques and teachings that finally helped me to recover from migraines. And at the time I never thought that this skill could turn into a business one day… but now here I am: a proud business owner and successful graduate of DCA.

I don’t remember exactly how I found Amy, but I’m guessing it was from a podcast interview. I’m a total podcast junkie, and if you listen to podcasts and are interested in online courses, you’re going to discover her pretty quickly because she’s front and center in that field.

I really wanted to sign up for Digital Course Academy when I first found out about it, but I had so many fears about “putting myself out there” with a digital course and on social media. (Then ADD the extra hesitations I had after years of hearing my professors in grad school warning against sharing too much about yourself with patients.)

Popping into the Facebook group and seeing that all these other people in the program were having the same fears I was made me feel normal and not alone.

After completing DCA and using Amy’s teachings, I bit the bullet and made my Instagram account public. I posted about my niche and eventually about my offer, and started to grow an email list. This was a HUGE leap for me, and it was worth it! I watched my email list go from zero to 300 by the time I was ready for my first launch.

“Writing to Release Chronic Pain” launched in March of 2022. Since I chose to include live group coaching as part of the program, I also chose to close down enrollment when I sold a certain number of spots.
