I started my personal training business 2 ½ yrs ago after graduating with a BA in nutrition. I always wanted the freedom that comes with owning my own business.

But when I was pregnant for the first time, I realized I didn’t know a lot about having a healthy, pain-free pregnancy. So I took a course to learn about preventing the pelvic and lower-back pain many pregnant women experience. I also learned how to heal abdominal muscles that get damaged during pregnancy. What I discovered was so helpful for me that I started teaching others what I learned.

I now run a brick-and-mortar business in Denmark. It’s a boot camp for pregnant and postpartum women. But it’s not only a place to learn about nutrition and exercise. It’s also a place where the women can find community and connect with others having a similar experience as a new or expecting mom.

I knew I offered an important service and wanted to scale to help more people. That’s when I decided to build an online presence so that I could reach and help more people at less cost than opening more locations.

I built my online class called Fit Moms/To Be & Baby Online Bootcamp and had my first launch before I ever joined DCA. That first launch made $13,000. I didn’t know much about marketing at the time and only used my organic reach on Facebook and some affiliates to promote my course.

Then I joined Digital Course Academy®️. I love the way Amy takes you through the whole process of making and advertising your course step-by-step. Whenever I had doubts or questions, I could email someone on Amy’s team or post in the Facebook group. (No surprise! Everyone was so supportive and gave me answers.)

After joining DCA, I did another launch in March. For that launch, I followed Amy’s instructions about how to set up my sales page, email sequence, and everything she says to do about marketing. I made $56K from that launch!

That launch showed me what was possible!

After that, I worked with my team to nail down our Ideal Customer Avatar and our messaging. I wanted the next launch to be even bigger. We made a stretch goal to bring in $150k for our third launch. We knew this was a bold goal, and we had to be hyperfocused to make it happen. Here’s what happened next…

We blew that goal out of the water on the first day of the launch when we made $184K! Our total at the end of the launch was $332K – during COVID-19!!

Since joining DCA, I have launches that are bigger than I even thought was possible.

As a mom of 3 young children ages 6, 4, and 2, I’m really busy, but now I have the freedom to take my youngest to dance class or my oldest to soccer. My husband has also been able to put in notice to leave his job and be at home with the kids full time.

The funny thing is that when I first started doing business online, I thought I wouldn’t like it because I crave in-person connection with the women I work with. Now I love that I can work from home in my pajamas if I want.

This experience has been awesome! Joining DCA has changed my business and my family life forever. Thank you, Amy and your amazing team!

Update- I launched my course for the fourth time in January, ending at $ 358K + $ 143K in down-sell!
