How to Break the Six-Figure Plateau
I should have figured this out by now. If that sentence runs through your head on the hard days, here's what I want you to see today.
Only 1 in 10 female-owned businesses earning between $250K and $499K ever reach a million, according to the JPMorgan Chase Institute. Not the ones who didn't try hard enough. All of them.
There's a stage between $100K and $500K that almost no one has named, and I'm naming it: the Quiet Climb. It's the most demanding chapter of building an online business, and the strategies that got you here won't carry you further.
You're not behind. The years of effort that haven't matched your results are the signature of this stage. This chapter is built to feel exactly like that.
You've put in plenty of effort, and the receipts are everywhere. What creates your next jump is alignment between what you're doing and who you and your buyer are now, and getting there is harder than working harder. It means stopping for a few hours, with your calendar and a notebook, to look at the business you've built with the same honesty you'd bring to a friend's.
I give you six exercises to run this week, including the one question to ask your best client that tells you more than any survey could. By the end you'll have a name for your stage and a first move you can take before the weekend.
RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:
- Revenue highs are exciting. The unexplainable dips that follow? Not so much. If you are a female founder making multiple six figures or annually, the problem isn't that things aren't working. It's that you can't yet see what is. And you can't repeat what you can't see. My Free Live Training fixes that. Click here to join.
- High six figures is a ceiling for a reason. What got you here stops working here. If you're a female founder earning $500K or more annually and you've already tried it all, what you need next isn't another strategy. It's someone inside your business showing you the way forward. The Milly Club is my private six-month coaching program for women growing toward their first million. Apply here.
