I Stopped Selling Courses. This Is What I Sell Now.

Digital Course Academy earned over $60 million and served more than 100,000 students. Six months ago I retired it and put a coaching business in its place.

I did that because of a woman I’ve watched for 17 years. She’s making $500K or $600K a year, sometimes a whole lot more, and her business genuinely works. She’s just working harder and harder while that number sits right where it’s been, following every strategy and buying every course along the way. Only 4.2% of women-owned businesses in this country ever cross a million dollars a year, according to Tory Burch Foundation data, and getting more women over that line is the whole reason I changed what I sell.

So I’m letting you in on the first six months. I’ll walk you through the three coaching programs I run now and how each one feeds the next, the Monday Live masterclass that every single client comes through, the messaging problem I spent months rewriting because I kept pulling the wrong women into that room, and what it’s cost me emotionally to rebuild something I’d already built once.

Revenue and profit are both on track, and there have still been days where I’ve wanted to come out of my skin. That discomfort has taught me more about the women I serve than 17 years of teaching ever did.
