#582: The Listening Mindset: My Secret For Understanding My Audience Intimately

How I’ve become a better listener (& how it’s helped me take a lot of the guesswork out of business growth).

I’m going to let you in on a little secret — listening to your audience can make a huge difference when it comes to your business’ bottom line.

When you listen to your potential customers, you gain insights into their problems and the solutions that they desire. 

And when you’re clear on what your audience desires, it’s like you have a roadmap that tells you what products to create, and what content to serve up that will lead them to making a purchase.

I don’t know about you, but having a roadmap sounds a lot better than wandering aimlessly to me.

But here’s the thing. Listening doesn’t come naturally to a lot of people, especially entrepreneurs who are used to doing all the talking. It definitely takes a little bit of practice — at least it has for me.

And that’s why I wanted to record this episode for you. In it, I share how listening to my audience has made a massive impact on my business as a whole — and how I’ve honed in on my listening skills over the years (as someone who’s admittedly a big talker).
