From college dropout to industry leader, it’s been an unexpected ride!

I luckily did not need a degree to get my first job working on websites — just determination and passion for making them better.

And as I got more experience, I started working for myself as a freelancer.

(And posted my tips and tricks on YouTube in my free time). Eventually, my channel became so successful that I was able to stop freelancing and instead focus my time on making more videos, teaching custom CSS for Squarespace.

Then I had this crazy thought…

What if I put everything I know into an online course and sold it to my audience?

Now, this may sound like a ridiculous fear now, but since I only had an email list of 500 people at the time — I was terrified that no one would be interested in buying my course.

So I made a backup plan…

If no one bought my course, I would use my new course-creating skills for my next business idea.

With my backup plan in place (just in case), I now had the confidence to sign up for Digital Course Academy.

DCA gave me the step-by-step action plan I so badly needed. In DCA, you learn so many little details that are SUPER important… like the importance of follow-up emails. (Which I would never have thought to do!) It’s almost like you get an MBA in marketing while you take this course.

The community was also a special part of my DCA experience. Seeing all the other entrepreneurs in different industries feeling the same levels of overwhelm, joy, excitement, and wins that I was — it made me feel like I was right on track (and never doing this course creator thing alone).

Since completing DCA I have launched twice (preparing for a third), and each launch has brought in around 70 new students. So far, after just 2 launches, I’ve made over $100,000!!

And it doesn’t stop there…

I also implemented a strategy I learned in DCA to send boosted traffic to my YouTube channel so I can monetize my visitors… and now I’m bringing in an extra $3,000 a month just from YouTube!

I didn’t realize when I made this course that I wasn’t just creating a course… rather, I was setting myself apart as a leading expert in my industry. I’m now being paid for speaking engagements, hosting webinars, and more! It’s completely changed my business.

AND… I was even hired to teach webinars FOR Squarespace! (What a full-circle moment!!)

Even if I’m not launching, I am always implementing what I learned in DCA.

This allows me to make sure I always have fresh leads coming in when it’s time for my next launch.

Before launching my course, I had 500 people on my list. Today I have over 17,000, just by implementing Amy’s teachings.

Because of the success of my business model I can now spend more time helping my students every single day… instead of trying to hustle since I am no longer worried about money.

And I was finally able to treat myself to my dream car.

Now I feel classy when I cruise through the Taco Bell drive-through, and it’s all thanks to DCA!
