As a creative person, I love being able to make ideas come to life. Being artistic is something that has always come naturally to me, which is why I chose to go to college for graphic design.

But after graduation, I took a different path… and the next thing I knew, I was sucked up into the corporate banking world, and my ability to be creative in my career came to a screeching halt.

I loved my coworkers and I moved up the ranks with two credit unions over 16 years. During that time, I married my best friend and we started a family.

Life as a mom flies by in a blink… Before I knew it, our son was almost 2 years old and I was working all day, every day, and missing moments I wanted to be there for.

Then, on a whim in 2019, I bought a CO2 laser and returned to my roots. I started selling my own custom SVG designs to other laser users and my digital shop hit the ground running!

After a while, the idea of sharing tutorial videos with others became second nature, as I love paying knowledge forward. That's when I started my own free learning group and created a YouTube channel.

It was also around the same time that I discovered Amy and learned her approach to building a subscriber list by offering freebies. I took action on what I learned, and within two months my list was over 1,000 subscribers strong!

At this point I was realizing I was onto something. My business was expanding from design into online education and my following was growing fast! So, I signed up for the Course Confident / DCA Bootcamp in Summer 2021 and then dove head-first into Digital Course Academy!

I joined DCA with two of my close friends for accountability. We completed the course together… and even launched together too!

My first launch was in February 2022… and 102 students signed up!

After my live launch, I decided to leave the enrollment open and sell my course all year long. It's been a little over a year now, and I've made over $53,000!

I also offer design files my students can purchase at a discount, which has brought in an ADDITIONAL $20,000 in revenue!

Because of the success of my first launch, I was able to cut my hours to part time at the credit union…

Then, just a year later, I made enough money from my digital products and courses to finally move my family out of Philadelphia and into our dream home in Florida!

And, in an exciting twist, I am also now the Community Manager for Aeon Laser USA – the company that makes the laser I use! (And I REALLY love it!)

I never could have done all of this without DCA. I had signed up for DCA with NO idea on how to launch a course, but Amy gives you step-by-step instructions on everything you need to have a successful launch!

Oh, and you get WAY MORE than the course blueprint. DCA also helped me find confidence in myself. I was so scared to ask people to buy from me.

It felt weird and spammy, but now I know that it is more than okay to make a living from what you are an expert in! You have a skill that can help people… and people WANT to buy from you… so there is nothing to be scared of!

To think that when I started out there were minimal resources on designing files for CO2 lasers and now I am a leader in this industry is crazy to me!

Because of DCA, my family is living the dream here in Florida. My son is homeschooled by my mom, so I am still able to wear all of the hats I have in my job roles these days… and I am loving every minute of it!
