I’m a mom to two young kids. Before my second child came onto the scene, I was super disorganized. It felt like life was challenging and stressful and like I never had enough time for my child, for my partner, or for myself.

I sat down one day with my partner and we said to ourselves, “Listen, we’ve got to make a change because this isn’t the kind of life we want to live!”

We slowly started to get organized. Thankfully, this is when we also discovered batch cooking (which is something I had never heard of before). We learned how to plan meals and freeze food, and we cook very quickly now, so making dinner is a breeze.

We got so into batch cooking and other time-management strategies, that I eventually decided to write a book and start a blog on the topic. (I even got a massive amount of likes and over 2,000 page views on the first day, which shocked me!)

The blog gained traction, and companies started reaching out to me for influencer marketing. I had no clue what to say to them, so I started looking for resources on what to do.

That’s when I discovered Amy. I came across her podcast and fell in love with it instantly. I started listening to all of the episodes about marketing, and eventually through the podcast, Amy finally sold me on the idea of creating my own online course.

I signed up for Digital Course Academy®️ in March 2019, and decided to go all-in!

I decided to make a course about time management and food prep that is perfect for busy moms because that’s what my blog was about, and that’s what I knew. I called my course “Dinner in a Flash,” which teaches my whole system: building a recipe database, meal planning, batch cooking, and more… and launched in September with a five-day challenge! 350 people registered and I got a ton of engagement, which was really exciting.

I didn’t spend any money on the launch — instead I focused on giving value, and people really responded.

My target was to sell only 6 spots organically. The result: I ended up selling 10!

Now I just did my second launch and doubled my revenue from the first time around!

I’ve learned that it’s OK to start small, and I know that if I keep at it, I will have bigger numbers to come… which excites me A LOT! I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
