I remember starting my interior design blog on the side 6 years ago because I was unhappy at my job and questioned if I could do something different.

Six months into it, I unexpectedly started getting requests for consultations. I asked my husband, “Do I do consultations?” He said, “Yes, you do!”

Those consultations went on to replace my corporate salary, but they also required full-time, hands-on hours to keep the money coming in.

As a natural procrastinator, this method was exactly what I needed to get results. Having paying students upfront kicked my butt into gear and helped me do things (like getting on camera) that I was always scared to do. Turns out, it’s not as bad as I thought!

You should know that my course success thus far came from using just 10% of what’s taught in DCA. I have BIG plans for 2020, and with DCA, I have absolutely EVERYTHING I need to make those dreams a reality.

UPDATE: It's been nearly 18 months since that first-course launch I have gone on to launch some other online courses and have made $1.8 million (AUD) during that period. I'm having so much fun and most importantly I'm enjoying helping other designers and decorators start and grow their businesses.
