I’m going to be honest. Launching courses is hard work.

But I didn’t like how I couldn’t leverage my time when I was working with coaching clients multiple hours a day.

Two years ago, if I wanted to make more money, I had to add more hours to my workday to chat 1-on-1 with a real estate agent (my target market) about how to grow their property management business.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my clients, but I was repeating the same teaching points over and over. It just wasn’t an efficient way to spend my time.

So, I actually launched a course on my own (before I found Amy) and it did really well. I had about 800 people on my list and generated almost $20,000 of revenue.

I know most people who haven’t launched a course might think, “You already did it! You figured it out. You don’t need to invest in a program to teach you how to launch courses.”

But I knew, ESPECIALLY after launching, just how many gaps there were in my marketing knowledge and experience.

One thing I completely overhauled after joining Amy’s programs is how I deliver my content. I realized that I had done a good job of getting students in, but that I was completely overwhelming them and they weren’t completing my course.

Amy taught me how to break down my content into small, manageable steps.

I’ve had GREAT feedback from my customers about how much better their experience is since I made those changes.

And with a more engaged audience, I have a better chance of selling another program or different offerings in the future!

Beyond that, I love having Amy as a resource because mindset has always been my biggest issue.

In fact, if I listed all of my mental blocks and fears, I’m sure I would have over 1,000 written—easy! At the top of that list is the recurring thought, “Who am I to teach this?” Especially when I think about the titans in my industry and how much more they know than I do.

What’s really powerful, though, is that I used Amy’s validation calls she teaches in DCA, and it helped me really understand my market in a way my “competitors” don’t.

I’m so glad I did those exercises because one of my biggest competitors (and mentors) reached out to me and offered me a job as his marketing coordinator and copywriter, saying that he read one of my ads and was impressed with how well I “get” my audience!!

(I didn’t tell him that I learned all of my marketing and copywriting skills from Amy.) ;-)

My bottom line is this: This year I made more money than I ever have—six figures; OH YEAH!—and 50% of my income is from selling courses.
