I started blogging in 2012 and I had no idea what I was doing. At that point, I had worked as a pediatric occupational therapist for over a decade and I wanted a way to bring in some passive income for my family so I could be home with my kids more.

I became known online as the lady that helps parents feed their picky eaters. But, there was only so much I could share in a blog post and I had a deep desire to serve these parents in a bigger way. That’s why, when I discovered Amy — more specifically, one of her webinars — I told my husband that I couldn’t miss it.

I put my laptop in the hallway outside the bathroom while I was bathing our kids and left it on full volume so I could listen in. Needless to say, my kids barely got bathed that night because I was transfixed by Amy! I realized for the first time, the POWER in building a business with my blog following, and more importantly… that it was DOABLE!

Amy calmed all of my anxiety and fears. The tech stuff, being on camera/using teleprompters (Hello, slides. You saved my life!), etc.

I joined Digital Course Academy®️, launched my first course, Mealtime Works, in 2016 and my second course, Sensory Solutions, the following year. By the end of 2017, I generated 6-figures! The year after that, I retired my husband from his environmental engineering career and invited him to work with me in the business.

This is coming from someone who used to make around $15,000/year. In 2018, we grossed $250,000!

What’s even more powerful than that though, is how we’re able to raise our children. My husband and I both only work about 20 hours a week so we can spend the rest of our time with them.

This summer, we even took a 12-day road trip to Maine. We wouldn’t have been able to do that with our jobs.
