I had been in business for myself for 5 years and it had been a struggle at the start. I was terrible at sales, HATED doing it, and was undervaluing my worth.

So I took some business classes, and over the years saw a massive improvement in my own business!

When I started having consistent 10K months, I knew I could help others with what I had learned… and that’s when I got the idea for my course.

After all, here I was a freelance copywriter writing copy for course creators, and I thought huh, I could do this!

But here’s the thing… I didn’t know where to start when it came to creating it OR selling it. That is, until I found Amy at the end of 2022.

Now, since I have ADHD, it’s usually hard for me to focus and stay on track. A lot of times I get overwhelmed, especially with technology.

But Digital Course Academy was not overwhelming at all!

It’s how I came up with my course: The Online Entrepreneur Accelerator! Where I teach freelancers how they can get 1–2 consistent retainer clients so they can live the life of freedom they crave.

DCA also has the most amazing community. I have made several lifelong friends from my accountability pods. And Amy is surrounded by a whole team that helps make sure everyone is taken care of. Without a doubt DCA has been the most “student friendly” class I have ever taken!

I followed DCA step-by-step… I mean it when I say I did EVERYTHING. The result: In just ONE year I have made over $58,500!

I was then able to upsell my students into private coaching, which added an additional $70,000 to my income!

And if you are thinking I have a huge email list, guess what… it’s less than 400 people!

Not only has course creation given me an additional income, but I am finally my own boss in charge of my own schedule! I get to work on whatever projects I like, travel, and I only work a few hours a day.

Now that I have course creator confidence and a few launches under my belt, I am going back through DCA to see if there is anything I can improve in my sales process.

My next mission is to grow my email list—if I have done this well with a small list, imagine what I could create if my list were in the thousands!
