I am a bit of a “local celebrity” in the FIRE community here in Sweden because of my expertise in teaching financial freedom to women.
It all started when my blog took off… and it hasn’t stopped since.
I knew I needed to monetize my following I was building, so I signed up for an app creation course. (Yup, not Amy’s Digital Course Academy – at least not at first.)
But the app creation course was a bust and I was quickly disappointed.
So there I was venting my frustrations on social media about it, and that’s how I stumbled upon Amy Porterfield and DCA.
I immediately signed up!
One of the first BIG realizations in the program was learning that I could make the course once – then sell it over and over and over again to create a consistent stream of income! (That got me excited!)
Then I had a second HUGE mental shift: I learned that I don’t have to be JUST like Amy to be successful at this since I have burned out before and need to save my energy. My dream goal was to become the Swedish Amy Porterfield. But during my DCA experience, I decided I would be ok with becoming my own version of a course creator. (Even if my dream goal still is to become the Swedish Amy P.)
I realized I can strive for progress, NOT perfection, and still have a successful course launch. (Otherwise, I would still be working on module 1!)
(But if you are going to strive to be like someone, Amy is it! She is a strong female role model that is so caring to her students, and makes you feel special.)
DCA gives you the EXACT blueprint to follow, so that’s what I did. I listened to Amy and followed each step as I geared up toward my first launch.
I launched “Woman’s Wealth Academy” (entirely in Swedish) at half price to a limited number of people, and even at my introductory rate I was able to bring in $26,000!
For my next launch coming up in the fall, I already have a waitlist of 600 people! My goal is for 100 students to sign up. (And I am super confident I can do this!)
I can truly say that DCA has changed my life. Not only did DCA give me the structure, confidence, and the “kick-in-the-butt” that I needed to create the course – but I now have something I can sell and make an income from for many years to come, while also helping to change so many lives.
It all just feels so right in ALL aspects of my life!
