After working in the corporate world, I dreamed of getting back to my creative roots.
I knew I had to make a change… the nagging feeling just wouldn’t go away.
Every day that I came home from my corporate job, I was sick to my stomach knowing that I wasn’t doing what I loved.
I had a Fine Arts degree, but I wasn’t sure if I could even make a living as an artist (which was what I really wanted).
That’s when I decided to just get back to being creative.
So I started my photography business…
And that led me back to my first love and true passion… painting!
Then someone recommended that I start teaching art classes and my business idea was born right then and there.
It was the perfect plan! (Or so I thought.) Just as I was getting ready to start my in-person art workshops, COVID happened and I was forced to pivot.
My next move: Teaching my art class as an online course.
And that’s where Amy comes in!
I had already taken Amy’s List Builder’s Society program, so I knew I could depend on her to help me create a successful (and profitable!) digital course business.
So I went all in and invested in Digital Course Academy!
After going through the modules, I created my digital course called “Learn Watercolor Basics.” The course helps stressed-out, overwhelmed women get some precious downtime while getting their creative juices flowing.
Creating my course wasn’t always easy… I struggled with ugly imposter syndrome!
But Amy was always there for me, showing me how to keep moving forward and believing in myself.
I’m glad I listened, because on my very first launch I had 9 people sign up for my course and made over $2,000!
I was STUNNED!
There are so many things I loved about the DCA program, but I have to say that Amy’s webinar strategy is hands-down the best module! By the time I completed the module I had overcome my fear of selling on a live stream. (Which I knew I really needed to do to make this work!)
Amy also teaches you how to navigate the tricky tech stuff without feeling overwhelmed!
I’m finally doing what I love — making art and helping other women get back in touch with their creativity.
And the best part is that I’m showing my daughter anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
