In 2014, I attended my very first Amy Porterfield webinar.

I didn’t even have my own business at the time. I was working for someone else, helping her bring her speaking business online. I signed up for Amy’s webinar to learn how I could support my boss, and I still remember sitting there, completely drawn in by her story and how she had created a life with freedom and flexibility by creating and launching digital courses.

Her story lit a spark in me, and my dream of being a digital entrepreneur started in that moment.

But for six years, fear and imposter syndrome kept me from taking action. I stayed behind the scenes, helping others build their dreams while my own stayed quietly tucked away in the back of my mind.

In 2020, everything changed. I finally decided it was time to stop waiting for the “perfect” moment and start creating the life I wanted. I launched my first digital course using what I had learned from Amy over the years, and it worked. That leap gave me the courage to keep going.

Later that year, I joined Digital Course Academy to take my business further. Amy’s step-by-step guidance, the encouragement inside the community, and the way she makes big goals feel doable gave me the clarity and confidence I needed. My launches grew, my audience grew, and so did my belief in what was possible for my family.

Because of what I learned in DCA, I have been able to help pay for my daughter’s dream wedding, retire my husband from his 30-year career so we could work together, and move to Florida to be near our first grandchild.

Today, we live and work on our own terms. We have the freedom to be present for the people and moments that matter most.

I am so grateful that I didn’t let perfectionism, overthinking, and fear hold me back. Being part of Digital Course Academy not only helped me get bigger results, it put me in a community where I didn’t have to build my dream alone.
