I live in a town so rural and small, we don’t even have a stoplight!

Despite its size, I have been a successful mindfulness and yoga teacher for over 3 years with my local studio.

(I have been a teacher for over 15 years total)

Many of my teachings also help women see the bigger picture of their menstrual cycle, and how to live in sync with their body’s natural rhythm – with meditation, movement, and mindset shifts.

Now, as you can imagine, being a small business owner of a yoga studio here in a tiny village in Northern Michigan, the pandemic hit us hard.

And this moment in our history made me ask the BIG question… “What does my future look like?”

So I listened to my intuition and decided to make a big shift to becoming a digital course creator. I saw the idea of creating digital courses as an opportunity to reach a broader audience while still supporting my community and family.

I also felt like a course format was a great way for women to learn about this very personal topic that they might not feel comfortable discussing with someone in public. It would give women the opportunity to discover their cycle in the privacy of their own homes.

I had been experimenting with digital memberships, but only limited knowledge on how to create a whole course on a specific topic.

That’s when I signed up for Digital Course Academy.

Speaking in public or being on video was no issue for me, I did that for years in my studio… But I’d never had to present a sales pitch!

(I paid extra close attention to those lessons – that’s for sure!)

I launched in January 2022 with a small email list of 335 and high expectations.

The result: I made over $5,000 on my first launch (and was happily surprised)!

Now that I’ve completed my first successful launch, I am continuing to grow my social media presence and my email list so that my next launch will be bigger than the last.

Even people who live in a tiny town like myself, with a super niche topic, can be successful with DCA! It was possible for me, and it’s possible for you too!
