I was born and raised in Bombay, India, but I had always wanted to see what other countries had to offer.
So, after studying law and accounting for my undergrad and getting a master's in finance, I decided to move to Hong Kong for a job with J.P. Morgan.
Four years later, burned out on working 16 hours a day as an investment banker, I quit my job to follow my crazy dream of traveling the world!
I ended up in Madrid where I funded my globe-trotting ways by teaching English. I worked through an agency that would send me to companies and clients and then take a cut for making the connection.
That's when I realized that I could use my education and professional experience to specialize in teaching legal English and financial English for a higher rate. AND start picking up my own clients instead of relying on the agency. (Hello, more money for travel!)
Then, I was introduced to Amy’s podcast from an Australian group of women entrepreneurs called Like-Minded Bitches Drinking Wine.
The time-for-money trap that Amy talks about was EXACTLY what I wanted to get out of. As a teacher, there were only so many hours I could work one-on-one, so I really wanted to transition to online courses.
Not to mention, a digital course business would allow me to travel even more. I wouldn’t have to live in any one city or country. I could move around when I wanted and decide to leave when I wanted, too.
So, I joined Digital Course Academy®️ in September of 2019, and by April of 2020, I launched my first course.

You gotta understand, I’ve never followed anybody in my entire life. Besides my mom, I’ve never had a role model. I’m a “figure it out on your own” type of woman through and through.

After my next launch, and after COVID allows us to start traveling safely again, I’m going to start my adventure of being a true global citizen. I cannot WAIT!!
