#331: 6 Figures & 5 Babies: How She Did it with Only 3 Hours a Day

Meet Andrea Olson, one of my amazing students and a fierce “Mom-preneur” with a mission and a successful online business.

She made over $600,000 in her business last year by committing to no more than four-hour workdays — with the exception of her launch days.

She teaches moms how to utilize a system called the “Elimination Communication” approach for potty training with her Go Diaper Free Program.

In this episode, we chat about how she sets up her business in a way that only requires part-time hours to run smoothly, her secret sauce, and the one thing she feels has made her so successful.

We talk about her first hire, some of the strategies she uses for growing her email list by 100 to 150 subscribers per day, and so much more.

  • [05:15] After having a baby, Andrea tapped into her entrepreneurial roots and made a business out of something called Elimination Communication (or EC), which she’ll explain in this episode.
  • [10:59] Last year, her business did $617,000 in sales. (So good, right?) And get this, about $111,000 was purely from webinars. Her goal is to hit seven figures this year. #nbd
  • [13:29] Andrea has a webinar show-up rate of — are you ready for it — 74%! She achieved this by using the swipe files and webinar guidance that she learned in my Digital Course Academy®️.
  • [22:45] This entrepreneurial mama of five only works three to four hours a day. I’m not even kidding! Her secret to this is focusing 100% on her family or her work, but not at the same time.
  • [25:06] Andrea has eight team members from all over the world. She limits her work time by working smart, setting boundaries with her team, and only accomplishing three or four things every day.
  • [33:29] Even with five busy kiddos, Andrea decided she wasn’t going to use that as an excuse for not following her dreams. So, she intentionally carved out focused time to finish DCA.
  • [36:25] Another key to her success is automating whatever she can within her business.
  • [39:33] She gets about 150 new subscribers a day. And although she’s terrified of Facebook ads, she’s had one specific ad that has significantly helped her increase her signups.
  • [43:14] Hiring a VA was the best decision she ever made. Andrea was making $500 a month and hired a VA for 5 hours a week. This allowed her to grow quickly and show up better for her audience.
