#547: My Readers Have Spoken: What Two Weeks Notice Meant To Them

February 23, 2023

Listen on…

My readers give an honest review of my book, Two Weeks Notice

Writing a book has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life.

Believe me, when I was working a 9 to 5, hustling hard for someone else’s bottom line (from the confines of a cubicle, mind you), I never would have imagined that one day I’d be a published author helping other women start their own businesses.

So now that my book Two Weeks Notice is officially out there, I’m absolutely over the moon.

From the very beginning, it’s been my goal to help women all over the world find the courage to quit their jobs, make more money, and create a life of their own design through entrepreneurship.

And I’m absolutely overjoyed to know that it’s doing just that.

In this episode, you’ll hear from a handful of women who have read Two Weeks Notice. They share what’s stood out to them the most, what they’ve written on sticky notes, what chapters they’ve read over and over again, and the words that have moved them most.

Hearing the impact this book has had on them truly warms my heart, and it’s my hope that these stories inspire you to take the next (or first) step in your journey – whatever that looks like for you!

Here’s a glance at this episode…

  • [08:01] Whitney Walter is planning her exit strategy and has set her official exit date.
  • [10:06] Jessica Sitani loves how the book has taken her back to a beginners mindset.
  • [14:29] Kristin McDonald has identified her ideal avatar and what problems she solves, which have both helped her overcome imposter syndrome.
  • [17:08] Monica Tanner is writing her own book and loves the step-by-step processes that are outlined in chapters 10, 11 and 12.
  • [21:02] Nicole Andrews has been able to transition to being a full-time entrepreneur because of Amy’s frameworks. She loves how the book teaches you the systems you need to manage your time and focus.
  • [26:02] Rosie loved reading Amy's journey into entrepreneurship and learning the concrete steps you need to take to feel confident giving your two weeks notice.
  • [30:34] Sara Mayer loved hearing about Amy's website building journey. She also resonates with the part about pressing pause on perfectionism.
  • [34:15] Thanks to Amy’s content, Stephanie Shaw was able to envision a better future for herself and leave her full-time job.
  • [37:03] Traci Havlik has fully focused on Amy’s content and has a goal of being able to inspire even more people.
