My parents were global nomads. And because of that, when I was a kid we were always on the move. So when I settled down in France, I was like, “No more moving!”

That’s when I started a career in advertising and said to my parents, “I will never move again, and I will never give up my career for a man!” Well, never say never, because that’s exactly what I did.

My husband has to move countries every couple of years for the organization he works for, so I gave up my job (that was tough) and started working as a consultant helping businesses with their marketing. That was around the time I started following Amy.

The problem with my new business was that every time we moved, I had to start over again from scratch.

When we moved to Vienna, Austria, things really took off for me. It was going really well and I was getting work with some major companies. BUT, there was still one big problem: I needed to figure out how to make my business portable.

I put my focus on solving this problem and was starting to make some great traction when I realized, “Oh, nobody’s teaching this!”

I had met a lot of women who were in the same situation as me and wanted to do something about it. So in 2015, I started a podcast on the side to share what I’d learned and to show my listeners how to turn their challenges into opportunities.

Doing both started to be tooooo much work, so a year and a half later I closed my consulting business and started coaching people on how to build portable businesses too.

Prior to enrolling in DCA I created a course and hosted it live. I knew I needed some help if I was going to have courses be one of my main revenue streams.

So that’s when I joined DCA.

In 2019, I launched a recorded course the DCA way called The Business Idea Accelerator. It’s for global nomads like me. It is designed to help global nomads find the right business idea that will allow them to build their own source of revenue and fulfillment on the move.

Also using Amy’s teachings, I created a second course called The Portable Business Accelerator. In that one, I help my students get clarity about their business, teach them how to launch and create consistent content, and I teach them how to sell, too.

My first proper launch the Amy way brought in $23,000! At the time I had 700 people on my email list and only did one webinar for that launch.

My second launch was to presell my next course. It brought in $13,000 with no webinar, and I hadn’t even built the course yet. What?!

Over the years I’ve learned sooo much from Amy. Just watching how she does things teaches me a lot.

She really helped me build a business that I can scale with online courses. If I hadn’t learned so much from her I wouldn’t be able to teach others how to do what I’m doing now.
After I completed DCA, I decided to join Momentum. Just being a part of it is AWESOME!

There’s lots of information in the program, and it’s good to know it’s there when I need it. What Amy taught during Covid about how to step up as a leader and how to continue running your business during a time of crisis was so special. That made a big difference for me, knowing I had a place to go for support in this emergency.

It’s July, and I’ve already reached the same revenue as last year, even during this pandemic. I have Amy’s help to thank for that!
