When COVID hit in March of last year, all of my work up to that point had been face-to-face.

I regularly held in-person workshops with businesses, leaders, charities, and individuals.

And as it did for many, virtually overnight… my whole world changed! I lost work, and I lost clients — it didn’t look good at all! My business was collapsing.

But I’m not the type of woman to let life take me down like that…

So I decided to lean back into my strengths and think about the person that I was, and what I could bring to this next season of life.

That’s when I founded The Purpose Pursuit — my brand-new digital-based business.

My entire career, people would reach out to me for help. They were desperate to find out who they were and desperate to connect with their strengths, gifts, and talents

So I began building a business around helping people with this. I guide them to get unstuck when they’re thinking about changing their career.

To reach more people, I knew I needed to expand by creating a digital course. That’s when I found DCA. (And I knew in an instant that the accountability, the expertise, and the step-by-step guidance was exactly what I needed.)

I decided to go through the program as quickly and as purposefully as I could. And I put myself on the clock to launch my first course in just a few months after that.

I will always remember that moment in my life as an incredibly busy and exciting time! I was delivering coaching and training, writing a course, filming a course, prepping all the materials to launch it, and learning all about social media and advertising… all in preparation for the big launch.

I couldn’t believe how many people wanted what I had created!

People from all sorts of different backgrounds joined! And I even went on to launch a second cohort just a few months later.

The financial success has been great, but what melts my heart are the wonderful stories of how I’ve changed lives with my course. I know I’m doing a big part in helping my students change careers or find the confidence to pursue their careers with more wholeheartedness.

I also now have a saleable digital business that isn’t reliant on in-person events during these uncertain times. And I absolutely have to thank Amy and the Digital Course Academy for that.
