A few years ago I started a successful health blog, and by 2017 I was earning six figures a year as a blogger and running it full time.

With my success, I started getting tons of questions about how I did it. And with those questions, I started dreaming up creating a course to teach others what I knew best — how to make money blogging.

But as life happens, I got pregnant with my first child, and the idea of creating the course got pushed. So when I got back from maternity leave in 2019, I just knew I couldn’t wait anymore.

When I launched the course in July of 2019, it went really well — I had 34 students sign up from a list of only 100 people and made about $18,000. But when I launched again in October… it totally flopped.

To make matters worse, I decided to invest in Facebook ads for the second launch, which left me with $12,000 in debt.

At this time I was newly pregnant with my second child and was thinking maybe I should quit the business altogether and be a stay-at-home mom. (But deep down I knew that was the last thing I wanted to do.)

Attending Amy’s event (The Entrepreneur Experience) helped me get out of my funk. I left with so much energy, clarity, and excitement, plus a real understanding of why the second launch didn’t go as well.

I had actually signed up for DCA right before the second launch, but I hadn’t had time to implement any of the strategies before the launch went live. With my newfound excitement, I committed to not giving up and instead decided to launch one more time and follow the DCA way to a T.

One of my big takeaways from DCA was that I needed to raise the price of the course. My husband actually thought I should lower it, but after watching Amy’s training, I really trusted her advice. So I doubled the price and just went for it!

My goal: $100,000 for the January launch! The result: I beat my goal by $52!! I had 89 students sign up and made $100,052!! I was blown away, and I know that following Amy’s strategies made all of the difference.

Now I have so much more motivation about the business, I feel inspired to keep going, and am so grateful I didn’t choose to give up!

I also feel confident that when I need to take maternity leave for baby number 2, I CAN. (And I can keep earning money at the same time!) Amy, thank you!
