As a sexual health and empowerment educator, I am passionate about teaching kids the skills they need to be more prepared, more confident, and less stressed about growing up.
For many years, my team and I have traveled to different schools and presented our workshops to students.
But then COVID happened, and everything changed…
I was forced to cancel over 100 in-person workshops last year, and I was scrambling to figure out my next move.
(Not only was I worried about MY livelihood, but my team was depending on me too!)
I also didn’t want students missing out on the important information that our workshops provide, so I decided to transform my programs into digital courses so that schools and students could still have access to them.
The first launch on my own was tough, and I needed help perfecting the launch process and reaching more of my audience…
Luckily, I saw a little snippet about Amy and Digital Course Academy on Kajabi, and I knew it would be the perfect investment for my new digital business.
With what I learned in DCA, I revised and updated two of my empowerment programs into a more gender-inclusive course called Growing Up Game Plan. It’s a course that parents can buy for their preteens to guide them through important issues like puberty, bullying, internet safety, healthy relationships, self-esteem, and having a positive body image.
Thanks to Amy’s wonderful webinar and Facebook ad strategies, my second launch was a HUGE success and I enrolled over 650 parents into my course!! 650!! What?!?!
Everything about DCA appealed to me, but I especially loved the videos, PDFs, and even learning the trickier stuff — like connecting my email provider to my course platform.
My favorite thing about my experience in DCA is feeling like I really connected with Amy. She has sooo much energy and passion for what she does, and she puts her heart and soul into teaching her students how to be successful with their digital course business.
