As a therapist, my first taste of more freedom and flexibility came when I started offering intensives in my private practice. It was game-changing for my clients (we’re talking soul-deep transformation in a weekend — not over the course of months or years!).

Soon, more and more therapists were asking me how I was doing it, so I started offering them 1:1 consultations and eventually scaled to a workshop. Finally, I knew it was time to create a course.

Therapy is beautiful and powerful, but it can also be draining for my highly sensitive soul. I wanted to have another source of income and still make a difference without having to sit my butt in a chair for 8 hours a day.  I wanted to travel, tend to my own health, and really be present for my friends and family.

I'd already been listening to Amy's podcasts and downloading all her free content, but I was ready to get the WHOLE thing in a step-by-step format and really create a course that could create change and be profitable.

I joined Digital Course Academy in the fall of 2023 and had my first launch in January 2024. I decided to launch with a Challenge and followed Amy's instructions to a T when creating my webinar.

DCA has so many valuable strategies but the webinar and pre-launch runway strategies were the most impactful for me. The results were unbelievable! 

More than 500 therapists attended the Challenge (by the way, I had just started building my email list in July 2023), and 35 therapists enrolled in my course. I had a 7% conversion rate and had a 5-figure launch!!!

For my next launch, I decided to GO BIG, and in May 2024, I hosted a Therapy Intensive Summit leading into my launch. It included 24 speakers, who were also affiliates for both the summit and my course. I hosted my webinar on the final day of the summit. The data is still coming in, but more than 3,000 people registered for the free ticket summit, and 500 upgraded to a VIP All-Access Pass.

As I'm writing this, the cart is still open and more than 40 therapists have already enrolled. The gross income from the summit has reached above $80K and with one week still to go, it's looking like this will be my first 6-figure launch!

I get teary-eyed when I think about how much has happened in less than ONE YEAR. Digital Course Academy gave me the courage, confidence, and framework I needed to take what was already in my head (and heart) to create a course. I now have a business model where I can take time off to breathe, rest, be in nature, and be with my family. That feeling of freedom and power is priceless.
