I’ve always been an entrepreneur. I started out working with my mother to build a chain of retail stores, but we ended up selling the whole business and decided to start over.

We didn’t want to have a lot of employees or deal with the 9 to 5 grind.

After we sold the business, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. So I started trying things out to see what I liked. I did everything from cleaning floors to being an assistant.

Then one day it hit me like a ton of bricks. I realized I was good at building communities. That was how I’d made our retail business successful. Our customers kept coming back because they were part of our community. If I could build something like that offline, I knew I could do the same online. So I started working as a community manager, helping people manage their Facebook Groups and create communities inside their own businesses.

I’d found my talent and wanted to help more business owners build strong communities for their customers too. That’s why I decided to make my own course teaching people my community-building method.

I met Amy at The Tribe LIVE Event before I ever knew anything about what she was capable of. I was blown away by her talk and knew I had to start following her.

Then as soon as Digital Course Academy®️ was available for enrollment, I bought it! I didn’t even have to think about it. I just knew I wanted to do it.

When I bought DCA, I was in the middle of my own launch. I’d designed my signature course, The Challenge Method, already and was launching it twice a year.
