For as long as I can remember, it had been my dream to start my career by landing an internship in the NYC magazine scene…

So, I started a fashion blog to use as my portfolio to get the gig.

My plan worked! And I got my foot in the door at a few of my most favorite magazines.

I worked my way up the ladder… and became magazine editor! But at what felt like the height of my career, that’s when the company folded.

Plan B: Lean on my tech skills, my fashion blog, and a YouTube channel I had started… and become a micro influencer.

As my followers continued to grow, I got excited about the idea of creating a digital course. My content supports my way of life in New York City, and people wanted to know how I do it.

That’s when I signed up for Digital Course Academy in September of 2022.

The first thing I did was take Amy’s advice, and I surveyed my ideal customer avatars to find out from them what they would be interested in buying from me. And that’s how I created my course idea: helping influencers start income streams that make the most sense for them. (After all, with my course, I now have 8 of them!)

Then I decided to presell my course. It was a little scary at first… I thought there was NO WAY anyone would buy something I hadn’t even created yet…

But I followed Amy’s webinar framework to a T, and I immediately sold 10 spots! And then another 7!

(I’ve probably watched the webinar framework training 800 times by now! It’s so detailed and she laid it all out step-by-step. That lesson alone is worth the price of DCA!)

By March of 2023, my first class of students had completed my course. Looking back it’s amazing to me that in just 6 months it went from just an idea… to course created, launched, sold, and delivered! That momentum was all because of DCA. I would have NEVER done that on my own!

With my first course launch, I more than made back my initial investment into DCA. AND I now have this new skill of creating and selling courses that has added to all the ways I am able to support myself.

I am currently redoing my course based on my customer feedback and adding all new custom images. I am so excited for my first launch of 2024!
