I was working as a financial analyst, yet unhappy with the corporate life I was living.
My real dream was to teach beginning investors the tried and true ways of becoming financially successful. So I went for it! And I went all in!
I quit my Wall Street job and began my freelance financial consulting business.
I provided one-on-one consulting services, and after a few years developed the confidence I needed to begin to reach more people who needed my help by growing my business online. It just felt like the next best step for me.
So, I started it all by building my YouTube channel and email list. At the beginning I wasn’t gaining much traction, but I decided to keep at it — even though I didn’t know for sure if it would actually pay off.
I did that for an entire year. Some days it felt brutal…
But I just kept showing up, even when it felt like nobody was watching. After one year of hard work AND consistency, my channel took off.
My email list exploded to over 15,000 people in just one month! And I now needed to figure out what to do next in my business.
It was about that same time when I discovered Amy and fell in love with her sweet, soulful style.
I devoured all of her free content first. And then when she offered DCA, I decided it was finally time to invest in creating my first course… So I signed myself up!
DCA was the perfect road map for me to create my course, “Index Fund Millionaire.” Financial investing can be very intimidating, so I created my course to teach beginners how to start investing with index funds. What happened next was a life-changing moment!
On my very first launch, I enrolled 512 students in my course and made $160,000!!!
I was not expecting to make anywhere near that amount of money. (Just thinking about it still gives me chills!)
This BIG WIN gave me the confidence and validation to know that I’ve created a course people want, paired with a curriculum that’s changing people’s lives.
With the money I’ve made from my first launch, I was able to finally pay off the last of my student loans and even helped pay for my mom’s much-needed knee surgery. (And I still have plenty of money left over to save and invest!)
