For the last 20 years, I’ve dedicated my whole life to my biggest passion: art
I’ve worked as an art consultant and appraiser in museums, art galleries, and even had my own consultancy.
I had a deep desire to teach others everything I know about art, and inspire them to love it just as much as I do… which is why I decided to create my course, “Art Consulting Academy for Interior Designers.”
Of course, I had a lot of fears going into it.
Imposter syndrome… wanting to make sure I did everything perfectly… being able to figure out the tech…
Which is why I’m so glad I didn’t do it alone, and instead had the support of Amy and DCA.
It was her virtual cheerleading and mindset pep talks that really kept me motivated during the program and helped me to realize I had more knowledge to share than I even knew.
In fact, I got a ton of positive feedback from the people who took my course, which was a HUGE confidence boost that helped me to realize I really am an expert at what I do.
Of course, it helped that Amy taught me how to ask my audience the right questions so I could create a course they wanted. And that she shared her framework about how to structure my course. I just followed the framework, and the result was an amazing course that my students love!
While I was launching, I just kept the mindset of done is better than perfect…
So when I launched my course I had only 5 people on my list. Now I have 300!
Even with a small list, 5 people joined my beta course during my launch, paying $300 each. And I also picked up 3 new consulting clients, too.
I’m so grateful that Amy helped me go through the process with ease instead of letting me worry about being perfect.
Now I can’t wait to raise my prices and launch again. I’m super excited about that!
